In partnership with Circa: Queer Histories Festival, ICI Acting Director Antoinette LaFarge and ICI Associate and curator Deborah Cullen-Morales join Getty Research Institute curator Pietro Rigolo to discuss the “AIDS Chronicles,” one of the long-running ICI projects founded by its late director Lise Patt. Many ICI-affiliated artists and volunteers took part in this project over its 25-year history. The panel will highlight what remains a lesser-known story of activism, alliance, and solidarity amidst the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Los Angeles.
